    Under the worse situation due to the Wuhan Coronavirus in Hong Kong, every citizens stay at home if possible. For student, there are online class. For the white-collar workers, they work at the home office. Therefore, some daily goods become more important. 

 

    Some people posted messages on the online platform such as Facebook and Instagram. Those messages which claimed that Hong Kong may be soon in a lack of daily needs situation, telling them to buy daily needs as many as they could immediately. So, daily necessities included cup noodles, rolled paper and sanitary napkin become out of stock in every supermarkets currently. 

Kinson Lai, who wears the blue jacket, trying to shop some cup noodles and rolled paper for his family on 19 February,2020. He goes to the Tuen Mun Wellcome Supermarket.

Wondering around at the Wellcome store, Kinson keeps searching for the daily necessities that suit his needs for almost ten minutes. Unfortunately, he gots nothing at this store.

On 17 February, the freezer which filled full with Tofu, instant noodles and paste were cleared as shown within 25 minutes. The staffs of the Tuen Mun YATA store are very busy to call their colleagues help to fill the stocks.

On 17 February 2020 at Tuen Mun YATA store, some instant noodles and rice are out of stock too. 

Citizens rush to the Tuen Mun YATA store after work in order to shopping on 17 February,2020. Some of them whispered that many things in the store are out of stock and cannot find the goods that they need.

There are no rolled tissue at the Tuen Mun YATA store, but boxed tissue.

On 19 February, Kinson goes to the Tuen Mun YATA store after went to the Wellcome Store. Luckily, there are few of cup noodles left in the store.

In front of the instant noodles display shelf, Kinson picked up some of them quickly.

Kinson also search for the another brand's cup noodles, which is his favorites cheese noodle. However, it is out of stock too.

" Five (Cup noodle) is enough for me. I want to left some for the one who need those." Kinson said.

After shopping for the cup noodles, Kinson searches for the rolled paper. But there are only boxed tissue, same scenario as 17 February.

On 19 February 2020, there are many people shopping for daily necessities even though it is not during the peak hour or public holiday.
